As you may already be aware, The Institution of Incorporated Engineers, Sri Lanka has recently embarked on a fund raising campaign to build its own Head Quarters Building. The Sri Lankan Government has allocated a plot for this purpose at Battaramulla near the "Sethsiripaya" building.

The financial support of its members and well wishers is important to the Institution of Incorporated Engineers, Sri Lanka in this campaign. Please consider a contribution to this worthy cause in your charitable giving. Your contribution to the IIESL Building Fund can assist the Institution to have it's own head quarters building which certainly would improve the image of its members. It would help us to give a hand to enhance the status of young professionals who would join the IIESL in future and the Institution itself.

It eventually becomes our responsibility to look back to our roots if we are to gain our future. In that context it becomes our duty and moral obligation as professionals to contribute generously towards this worthy cause. We are aware that the first step in raising a large fund is establishing credibility. In order to demonstrate our initiative in this campaign we, the members of the UAE Branch of IIESL have already contributed Rs.1,000,000.00 ( Dhs.33,000.00) to the Building Fund during our Annual general Meeting held in January 2007.
